Missing Data (Machine Learning)

Definition

When some entries are missing from the dataset, due to errors, omissions, or other issues.

Different from Partial Observability (Machine Learning)

Example

A hospital records all types of data, including age, blood type, etc. But some patients don't want to disclose their age.

There is age in most entries, but there are some entries where age is NaN.
